レオ・ブルース（LeoBruce,1903年6月20日-1979年6月10日）は、イギリスの著述家・推理作家である。本名はルーパート・クロフト－クック（RupertCroft-Cooke）。推理小説のパロディ作品の一つ『三人の名探偵のための事件』などで知られる。本名でも犯罪小説や多数の自伝を執筆した。
経歴
| 多くの学校を渡り歩いた後、アルゼンチンのブエノスアイレス大学に入学した。 |
| 卒業後はまずは教師として働き、その後も転々と職をかえていく。 |
| 著述家として活動を始めたのもこのころである。 |
| 第二次世界大戦中はイギリス軍に入隊し、植民地に派遣された。 |
| 戦後は専業の作家として活動した。 |
| 1953年には同性愛の嫌疑で投獄され、釈放後は10年以上もの間、タンジールに移住していた。 |
作風
| 著述家として生涯に100冊あまりの本を執筆した。 |
| その内容は多岐にわたる。 |
| うち現在まで知られているのは32冊あるブルース名義の推理小説である。 |
| 作中に登場する探偵役は最初の8長編がウィリアム・ビーフ巡査部長（SergeantWilliamBeef）、『死の扉』以降の23長編はパブリック・スクールの歴史教師キャロラス・ディーン（CarolusDeene）である。 |
